House fire in Mixenden

A man and a child needed treatement for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Mixenden.

Firefighters were called to the house on Clough Bank at 8.40pm last night after the living room of the property caught fire.

West Yorkshire Fire Service said a male adult and male child were given oxygen therapy by paramedics at the scene but did not need hospital treatment.

A fire crew from Illingworth attended the blaze, which was out on arrival.
