Knifeman chases people in Harrogate

At around 6am on Sunday August 30, police received reports from several members of the public that a man with a knife was seen shouting and running after two other men through Elmwood Street in Harrogate.

However, the two men who were being chased have not come forward to police and officers are now appealing to them to get in touch.

The two men and anyone who has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Kristian Randall. Or email [email protected]

Police officers attended the scene of the incident and arrested a 22-year-old local man who was taken into police custody. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
