Man whose body was found in Sowerby Bridge is named
A man whose body was found in Sowerby Bridge has been named as Christopher Simmonds.
The body of the 49-year-old was found by railway workers in a field off Milner Royd Lane at 6.19am on Sunday, May 4.
Last week police said they were not treating the discovery of Mr Simmonds’ body as suspicious.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned last Thursday.
