Manrochem relocate to Brighouse

Process engineering designers Manrochem Limited have relocated their business to new build premises in Birds Royd Lane, Brighouse.

The company were based in Huddersfield town centre but has moved to meet the needs of its expansion plans.

The new headquarters provide major improvements in many areas; floor space, high speed internet, car parking, state of the art accommodation and excellent transport links.

The move has already allowed the employment of an additional three staff.

David Wakefield, technical director, said: “All our employees are graduate level or above so the three new staff we’ve employed are all professional engineers, and are based within the M62 corridor.

“Moving to the new premises will allow us to take on additional work.

“We’re a successful company and winning quite a large amount of work, but when that happens, you need more staff and bigger premises to be able to produce the extra work.

“We had outgrown our previous premises, where we had been since 1997.

“We’ve been looking for five years for somewhere to move to, but it’s very difficult to find the appropriate location with the required communication capabilities.

The company, who celebrated their 25th birthday last year, currently employ around 30 staff in Brighouse and a further 20 in India.

They are also a contractor for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other allied process industries.

The company specialises in helping firms implement new processes and install new production facilities to increase productivity or tackle safety or environmental issues, and their client list includes many household names in the chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals sectors.
