Morning travel and weather

There are possible delays on the M62 westbound between junction 26, (Chain Bar) and Junction 25, (Brighouse), after a lane was closed because of an accident.

Roadworks continue in Shelf on Wade House Road and on the A6036 between Halifax and Bradford.

Malfunctioning traffic lights on Halifax Road between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge are also causing problems.

Traffic lights at Bailiff Bridge crossroads are also out.

There are currently no disruptions on public transport.

Today’s weather will start mostly cloudy through the morning with outbreaks of rain at times. A better chance of some bright or sunny intervals for the afternoon, but this could set off a few heavy showers. Maximum Temperature 16 °C.

Tonight there will be further showery rain through the evening into the early hours of Saturday. Again some heavier bursts are possible, particularly towards dawn. Minimum Temperature 9 °C.
