New eco-friendly offices launched

Hipperholme-based eco-roofing specialist, Ploughcroft, is showcasing its green expertise with the launch of a new office complex providing eco-friendly workspaces for businesses in the region.

Situated in the heart of Hipperholme, the seven office units, ranging from approximately 180 square feet to 240 square feet, are situated above Ploughcroft’s head office.

The former council offices, built in 1890, originally had an energy rating of G.

However, thanks to Ploughcroft’s green construction techniques, they have gained what is thought to be the biggest-ever jump in energy efficiency to an A rating.

Chris Hopkins, managing director at Ploughcroft, said: “We are proud of the work we have completed in transforming Whitehall Chambers into an eco-friendly environment for businesses to work in.”
