New mum holds baby show

A new mum has organised a local baby and toddler show that will take place at Brighouse High School this Sunday.

Mia Marsh, 22, organised the Bump2Tot event while on maternity leave when pregnant with her son, Cameron, now eight-months. She even went to the Birmingham Baby Show while heavily pregnant to gather ideas.

She said she wanted to have a show to let all the parents know what was avaliable to them in their area as well as helping local businesses.

“We hope to see many parents and expectant parents at the event and hope they come away from it with lots of ideas for their babies and toddlers.”

Mia hopes the show will be the first of many events for her events company, ‘Life’s an Event’, which also organises weddings, christenings and other special occassions.

Doors to the show are open from 10am-3pm and there will be free parking and a café on site. Admission is £2 for adults and free for under 16s.

The first 200 people will also receive Bump2Tot goody bags.
