Sex assault on boy, 12, on bus to Brighouse

A 12-year-old boy has reported to police that he was inappropriately touched by a man on the back seat of a bus heading to Brighouse.

Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the sexual assault.

Calderdale CID would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man pictured or has information about the incident on the 4.55pm 549 service from Huddersfield to Brighouse on October 27.

The victim has reported it to the driver who has stopped in Hipperholme and made the man leave the bus. The victim believes they have later seen the man at Brighouse Bus Station.

Anyone with information about the pictured man’s identity or who was witness to the events on the bus is asked to call Calderdale CID on 101.
