Supporting brave Summer

With an evening of live music and a range of raffle prizes up for grabs, the night - “Embracing Summer” - is one not to be missed.

Local bands including Angel State, Mr E and McCooney will entertain crowds on the night and beauty products, luxury hampers and meals out are just some of the prizes to be won in the name of a great cause.

Karen Bicknell, one of the organisers of the event, said: “It’s looking like there is going to be a really good turn out.”

The event will be held on Saturday, November 1, at the Halifax Irish Centre from 7pm until midnight.

Tickets for the evening cost £5 in advance or £7 on the door. Some are still available and can be purchased from the Irish Centre or from Guitarzone in Halifax.

Summer suffers from an aggressive form of the childhood cancer Neuroblastoma.
