Release date announced for Happy Valley series DVD

As viewers take in the climax to the popular BBC1 drama Happy Valley, fans wont have to wait long to catch the series on DVD.

RED Production company has confirmed that the series DVD will be released on June 16.

The series, which has seen millions of viewers gripped by the story of Sarah Lancashire’s character Sergeant Catherine Cawood, was created by Calderdale writer Sally Wainwright,

RED Production Company was set up by Nicola Shindler in 1998 to work with the best writers on modern, innovative and entertaining programming.

The Independent TV drama production company has since produced some of the UK’s most popular drama series working with esteemed writers including Russell T Davies, Bill Gallagher, Danny Brocklehurst and Sean Conway.
