Schools closing due to weather (updated at 1.50pm)

Heavy snowfall has caused some schools to shut around Calderdale (Wednesday).

Hipperholme and Lightcliffe High School: closed

Crossley Heath: closed

North Halifax Grammar: closed

Brighouse High School: open

Brooksbank School: closing at 2.20pm

Todmorden High School: closed

Calder High: closed

Calderdale College: closed

Hipperholme Grammar School: closed

The Halifax Academy: closed

Rastrick High School: closed

Park Lane Learning Trust: closed

Rishworth School: open

Ryburn Valley High School: closed

Sowerby Bridge High School: closed

Trinity Academy: closed

Sacred Heart Primary school in Sowerby Bridge and Luddenden CE School are closed due to the snow.

Shade Primary School, Todmorden is open.
