Thirteen in court over drugs charges

As part of a major police operation targeting suspected drug dealers in Halifax in which 27 people were arrested, the following people have appeared before Calderdale Magistrates' Court:

They will next appear at Bradford Crown Court, except where stated.

Zach Wilkinson, 26, of Erringden Street, Todmorden, was charged with 12 offences of supplying class A drugs and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He was bailed to appear on April 6.

Jamil Zahir, 28, of Mount Pleasant Avenue, Halifax was charged with four offences of supplying class A drugs. He was bailed to appear on April 6.

Renata Nistorova, 23, of Kashmir Park, Halifax, was charged with two offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. She was bailed to appear on April 5.

Dale Taylor, 31, of Friendly Street, Halifax, was charged with ten offences of supplying class A drugs and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He admitted all charges and will appear for sentencing on April 4.

Nadeem Nazir, 39, of Hammond Street, Halifax, was charged with three offences of supplying class A drugs and bailed to appear on April 4.

Altaf Hussain, 59, of Queensway, Halifax was charged with supplying class A drugs, and three offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He was bailed to appear on April 4.

Tariq Mahmood, 48, of Beckenham Place, Halifax, was charged with four offences of supplying class A drugs, and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and bailed to appear on April 4.

Catherine Boland, 63, of Redcar Street, Halifax was charged with supplying class A drugs and bailed to appear on April 7.

Mark Shuttlewood, 43, of Redcar Street, Halifax, was charged with supplying class A drugs and bailed to appear on April 7.

Darren McHugh, 42, of Clare Hill, Huddersfield, was charged with supplying class A drugs and bailed to appear on April 7.

Nadeem Nasir, 35, of Batley Field Hill, Batley, was charged with supplying class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He was granted conditional bail and will appear on April 7.

Matloob Hussain, 58, of Queens Road, Halifax, was charged with two offences of supplying class A drugs, and two offences of driving whilst disqualified. He was bailed to appear before Bradford Crown Court on April 5. He denied driving whilst disqualified and will stand trial for that offence at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court on April 28.

Imran Khan, 38, of Queens Road, Halifax, was charged with three offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He will appear before Calderdale Magistrates’ Court on April 14.
