Crews attend building fire in Halifax

Crews were called to a building fire in Halifax last night (Monday).

Appliances from Halifax and Illingworth attended the incident on Hanson Lane at 7.40pm.

When they arrived the ground floor fire had started to spread upstairs.

Four firefighters went in to the building with breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to extinguish the flames. They left just after 9.30pm.

Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
