Crews called to flat fire in Brighouse
Crews were called to a flat fire in Brighouse this morning (Tuesday).
The kitchen fire, which was caused by a pan being left on the hob, was at an address on St Martins View at 2.20am.
When crews from Brighouse and Elland arrived the fire had been put out but a resident was suffering from smoke inhalation.
They were taken to hospital as a precaution.
Firefighters left the scene at 3am.
