Whilst the exact location and potential injuries were confirmed, the CVSRT were mobilised.

Once on-scene, a team doctor tended to the casualty whilst the remaining members prepared a hauling system attached to the bell stretcher.

A CVSRT spokesperson said: “Thankfully the young lady wasn’t seriously injured and was quickly packaged, brought back up the steep ground and handed over to the waiting YAS paramedics for treatment for facial grazes and a leg injury.”

The CVSRT were stood down at 2am.
