Firefighters cut free driver as car crashes and flips over in Elland

An elderly driver was cut free by firefighters from an overturned car after it crashed in Exley Lane, Elland.

Crews from Rastrick and Todmorden, along with the Technical Rescue Unit and support crew from Cleckheaton, attended the incident on February 23 at 10.34am.

"The casualty was released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

Officers for the West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Special Constables, who posted the picture on social media. also attended to assist with the rescue.
