Man cut out of car following crash in Todmorden
A man had to be cut from his car following a two vehicle crash in Todmorden this morning (Monday).
The incident, involving a Ford Focus and a Volkswagen estate-type car, happened on Halifax Road at 11.10am.
Firefighters from Todmorden, supported by colleagues from Illingworth, attended and cut the driver, who had suffered spinal injuries on a previous occasion, out of his Focus. He was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
The incident didn’t cause any traffic disruption and firefighters left the scene after an hour.
