Update: Disruption cleared in Hebden Bridge after burst water main

Bus services and traffic is returning to normal in Charlestown after a burst water main caused earlier disruption.

Yorkshire Water were doing scheduled work on a water main on the A646 on Halifax Road when the road at Callis Bridge was forced to close after the main burst at lunchtime.

First West Yorkshire bus services between Halifax, Mytholmroyd and Todmorden had to be suspended but Metro have now confirmed that services are back to normal.

Work had started today on the pipes and temporary traffic lights are expected to be in place on the road until June 24.
