Updated: Person injured in two-vehicle crash on Brighouse stretch of M62
One lane of the M62 was closed for around an hour this morning (Friday) after a two-vehicle crash on the M62.
The incident happened at around 9am on the eastbound carriageway between junction 25, A644 (Brighouse) and junction 26, M606 (Chain Bar),
A grey Mercedes and a silver Ranault Megane collided and one of the vehicles ended up in the crash barrier. One person suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Queues had formed on the carriageway, with matrix signs set to 40mph, but traffic was running as normal by 10.30am.
