Unconscious elderly woman rescued by search and rescue team
An elderly woman had to be rescued by Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Eighteen team members were called to a property in Cragg Vale, where the woman was in the upper floor of the house.
Due to the awkward location of the propery, access was restricted for the ambulance - CVRST members managed to evacuate the woman down the hillside to the road where she was put in the care of paramedics.
