Update: Morning travel and weather

The works on Carr House Lane were due to start today with residents given two weeks notcie to find alternative parking for their cars, however, the vehicle is holding up the work.

The owner of the car is being warned that it will be moved by other arrangements if they don’t return to their vehicle soon.

Shay Lane in Holmfield is closed in both directions near the Holdsworth Road junction, because of roadworks. Divesions are in place.

Although the odd light shower can’t be ruled out, most parts will see a dry day with some good sunny spells developing. Maximum Temperature 22C.

It will remain dry overnight with some good clear spells developing, allowing a few mist patches to form by dawn and becoming quite chilly, especially in rural areas. Minimum Temperature 9C.
