UPDATED: lanes reopened on M62 following three-car crash
All lanes are now open on the M62 eastbound between Brighouse (J25) and Chain Bar (J26), following an earlier serious incident.
Motorists faced long delays after a collision involving three vehicles led to the closure of three lanes.
Fire crews from Brighouse and Cleckheaton attended the incident at 4.30pm this afternoon (Friday).
One passenger had to be cut out of a vehicle and was taken to hospital.
It is just one of a series of collisions on the M62 today, traffic police said.
