VIDEO: Hebden Bridge Christmas lights switch on
Hundreds got into the festive spirit in Hebden Bridge last night (Thursday), as the Christmas lights were switched on.
Father Christmas was joined by the Mayor of Hebden Royd Town Council coun Jonathan Timbers and Mytholmroyd Gala Queen Elsa Wilson to switch the sparkling lights on in the St George’s Square, Hebden Bridge.
There were performances from dance group The Magpie Movers, the Hebden Bridge Junior Band and local schools including Hebden Royd, Luddenden Academy and Burnley Road School.
The lights in Mytholmroyd will be switched on tonight from 4pm at St Michael’s Square, Mytholmroyd.
