Hundreds of petrol heads have turned out for the annual event held in Calder Holmes Park, which is organised by the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge.

Club President Roger Moore said: “Today hasn’t dampened our spirits. We’re well up for it. We’ve ad plenty of people in. They’re all enjoying themselves.

“There’s plenty of things for you to see if you come and join us. We’ve got things for the kids. We’ve got places to eat. We’ve got bric-a-brac stores and we’ve got lots and lots of cars for the petrol heads.”

The event runs until 5pm today (Saturday) and returns tomorrow from 10am to 5pm, when there will be even more cars from yesteryear.

All the proceeds from the event will go to local charities and good causes, as well as the organisations international charity.
