Vulnerable man rescued in Hebden Bridge
A vulnerable man had to be rescued after he was found down an embankment near the canal at Hebden Bridge yesterday (Monday).
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team were called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to the scene at Palace House Road.
The casualty needed urgent medical treatment and on arrival, team members used a board to lift the casualty on to a stretcher to be taken to an ambulance.
West Yorkshire Police were also in attendance.
