Wet your whistle at Hebden Bridge Beer and Cider Festival

The Hebden Bridge Beer and Cider Festival kicks off today (Saturday) and there will be plenty to enjoy over the weekend.

Unique beers from local breweries Little Valley Brewery, Bridestones and Slightly Foxed will be on the menu.

And for cider lovers, there wll be a wide variety of hand crafted farmhouse cider and perry selected by the Real Cider Company.

At 2pm today, visitors can hear a talk on brewing in the Calder Valley with brewer Dan Tasker.

Hear how he started and about his exciting new venture - the talk will also include samples of his brews.

At 3.30pm, discover the taste of real cider and how it compliments cheese. Plenty of local cheese and ciders will be available to sample.

The event begins at noon today and will run until 8pm and until 6pm tomorrow.

Entry is £3.50.
