Wintry weather continues
The district is waking up to widespread disruption for a second time after more heavy snow and blizzards over night.
Side roads are covered with standing snow, with main roads passable but still affected.

Hide AdForecasters are expecting the snow to continue until around 6pm tonight especially on higher ground.
At lower levels, some areas could see five to ten centimetres of snow.
Tonight there is expected to be the odd snow flurry but otherwise dry and cloudy. It will remain windy and very cold with temperatures expected to drop to -3 degrees celsuis.
But the snow is expected to return tomorrow evening and will continue into Monday and Tuesday.

Hide AdThere is no disruption caused to train journeys apart from a signalling problem which is causing disruptions at Slaithwaite in Huddersfield.
But most bus services throughout Calderdale have been suspended until the weather improves.
