They lost by 65 runs at Warley with Graham Kinsey hitting his second ton of the season against the Grassy Bottom side.

The South African’s first counted for little in an abandoned game but his hard-hit 101 on Sunday, before being run out, helped the hosts post 237.

Adie Gawthrope, back at Sowerby St Peter’s, made 103 not out and took four for 27 as his side overcame a potential banana skin against Bridgeholme, who are going well in Division One.

Denholme Clough’s Asif Mohammed (147 no against Outlane) and Great Horton PC’s Waseem Chaudhry (117 against Oxenhope) helped their teams make progress.
