Halifax play the Huddersfield Central League in the 40 over final at Booth (1.30) and the host club will have three players in the line-up.

They are skipper Richard Laycock, Patrick Thomas and Chris Shannon.

Pinfield describes his team as “youthful with plenty of athleticism.”

He said there were plenty of options with bat and ball for the 40 overs per side contest.

There is a first appearance from Pinfield’s free-scoring Jer Lane clubmate Raqeeb Younas, who scored 67 in the Parish Cup final recently.

Two young members of the Copley side which beat Lane on that occasion will also be near the head of the batting order.
