Warley post decent score
A superb stand between Shazad Hassan and Greg Keywood looks to have given Warley a slight advantage in their Parish Cup quarter final with Halifax League champions Jer Lane.
That match and the other three last-eight contests will resume next Sunday after late afternoon rain washed out play yesterday.
The tie of the round was at Warley, who were 18 for three before a 150-plus partnership between Shazad (98) and Keywood (80) propelled them to a total of 232.
Lane bowled well at the death to stay in contention but no play was possible after tea.
