Rob Brown

Man of the match - Matty Brown, led by example and really got stuck in all afternoon. A clean sheet reflected a great team effort. It’s points like this away from that will keep the Shaymen away from relegation trouble.

Moment of the match - 51st inute: Matty Kosylo had a great chance to give the Shaymen the lead after going past two defenders as if they weren’t there. The keeper made a good save with his legs.

Moan of the match - The referee simply wasn’t fit enough to officiate at this level of the game. He was constantly behind the play and looked a good few stones overweight. Clubs deserve better officials.

Kit Walton

Man of the match – Matt Kosylo gave a Noble performance, defending well in the first half and attacking in the second. He came closest to scoring following a tricky run. There’s no Fleas on Kosy!

Moment of the match – Early on, Sam Johnson makes a class save from EastFlea’s Zebroski. A goal then and we would have been on shaky ground, but Sam came up with the goods to stop a shot that was bending in.

Moan of the match – There was something missing at EastFlea on Saturday, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Hopefully our new Manager will sort things out soon. Until then everyone needs to give him the support he needs and deserves.

Man of the match - Matty Brown showed why he is captain today, he kept their chances to a minimum, was solid in defence and helped Halifax keep a clean sheet.

Moment of the match - Kosylo’s second half shot was on target and had some speed and power behind it. Without a great save from Eastleigh’s keeper we could have had or first win at this ground.

Moan of the match - The standard of officials has been poor this season and today was no exception. The referee was constantly behind play which gave certain players the opportunity to simulate being injured and get away with it!!
