Another day where it feels ridiculously early in the season to be saying “it’s a big day for FC Halifax Town” but in stark reality, it is. There simply has to be a response from last Saturday’s lamentable 5-1 defeat at Aldershot. That was just nowhere near good enough, and Town need to show some pride, some passion and that they care and they recognise the last outing was unacceptable. Eastleigh are doing pretty well so far this season, not great but not bad. If Town play to their capabilities they should be coming here and winning, but Town look a long way from playing to their capabilities at the moment.
