Venue: Silverlake Stadium

Date: Saturday, March 20

Kick-off: 3pm

Referee: Adrian Quelch. Took charge of Town’s away draw at Woking and their away win at Weymouth this season.

Odds: Eastleigh win 8/5, draw 21/10, Halifax win 9/5

Last five games

Easteligh: Wealdstone (a) D 0-0, Chesterfield (a) L 1-0, Bromley (h) L 2-1, Hartlepool (a) D 0-0, Wrexham (a) D 2-2

Halifax: Hartlepool (h) D 1-1, Wealdstone (a) W 2-1, Notts County (a) W 2-1, Solihull (h) W 1-0, Aldershot (h) W 1-0

Manager: Ben Strevens. Given the job permanently in November 2018, he has guided the club to finishes of 7th and 17th.

Position: 9th

One to watch: Veteran striker Tyrone Barnett has eight goals in 26 league games this season and scored in the reverse fixture earlier this campaign.

Match facts: If Halifax win, they will have recorded five straight victories for the first time since their 2-1 win over Bromley made it five win a row in February last year.

If Town keep a clean sheet, they will have recorded three in a row for the first time since October 2019.

A win for Town would make it the first time they’ll have registered four successive away wins since a run of five in March and April 2014 under Neil Aspin.

Only three teams have conceded fewer home goals in the National League than Eastleigh.

Only two sides have scored more away goals in the division than Halifax.

The Shaymen have only failed to score once in their last 20 matches.

Last time they met: Jamie Allen, Kieran Green and Nyal Bell all found the net as Town beat Eastleigh 3-1 at The Shay in December.
