FC Halifax Town: Attacking midfielder Green joins Shaymen

Attacking midfielder Kieran Green has joined FC Halifax Town from National League North side York City.

Green played 37 times for York last season, scoring four goals and contributing five assists as The Minstermen secured a play-off spot.

The former Hartlepool and Gateshead player rejected the offer of a new contract at York this summer.

He becomes the fourth new signing announced by Halifax after strikers Jake Hyde and Matty Stenson, and midfielder Martin Woods.
