Heavy snow and freezing temperatures resulted in a pitch inspection at The Hive this morning before Town set off for the game.

In a statement on their website, Barnet said: “Upon inspection, the pitch was deemed frozen and therefore unplayable, with the visitors set for a long and the forecast looking unlikely to get above freezing, an early decision to call the game off was made.

“The Bees and the Shaymen have provisionally agreed to rearrange the fixture for next Tuesday (16 Feb, 7pm), but await final confirmation from The National League regarding this.

“Anyone who had purchased a streaming pass for tonight’s match will be able to re-use it for the rearranged fixture.”

Town are next in action at home to Dover on Saturday.
