The forward joined Solihull Moors on an 18-month contract in October 2018 for an undisclosed fee after impressing at Leamington, where he scored eight times in 13 starts, but found game limited there.

He joins Jake Hyde as a new face at The Shay this summer.

Town boss Pete Wild told the club’s website: “I’m really happy to secure Matt’s services.

“He is an exciting number nine who can also play in-behind.

“He competes in the air and can dribble and drive with the football.

“As with Jake he has been a long term target of mine and I am really excited to get both my main targets.”
