Winger Reuben Noble-Lazarus has become the latest player to join FC Halifax Town.

The 27-year-old Huddersfield born player was just 15 years and 45 days old when he made his debut for Barnsley on September 30, 2008, breaking a Football League record for the youngest player which had stood for 79 years.

He went on to play 49 games at Oakwell, 38 as a substitute, across seven seasons, scoring three goals, but struggled with injuries.

After loan spells at Scunthorpe and Rochdale, he joined the latter permanently in 2015, playing 50 games and scoring five goals but again suffered injury problems and left in the summer of 2017.

He then joined Chorley in the National League North in October 2018, but was released before the end of the year.

In February this year, he joined Golcar United of the North West Counties Football League.
