FC Halifax Town: Midfielder King leaves Shaymen as winger Macdonald joins Hartlepool

Midfielder Cameron King has left FC Halifax Town after two seasons at the club, while former winger Josh Macdonald has joined Hartlepool United.

King joined Town from King's Lynn under Jamie Fullarton in the summer of 2018, and made 34 appearances in his first season.

He then played 35 times for Town under Pete Wild during the 2019-20 season, displaying excellent technical ability and creativity during his time at the club.

Macdonald joins Hartlepool in his native north-east after being released at The Shay following a five-year spell at Halifax.
