FC Halifax Town: Midfielder Summerfield ruled out for three months

Midfielder Luke SUmmerfield has been ruled out for three months due to a partially torn ACL, the club has confirmed.

The news about the 33-year-old is a huge blow for The Shaymen, with Summerfield arguably the club's player of the season so far since joining Town from Wrexham in the summer.

The club have also announced that striker Jake Hyde should be available next week after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Danny Williams still has swelling around his ankle, while captain Nathan Clarke continues to recover from his eye problem.

Midfielder Kian Spence has started eight weeks of rehab after a successful operation, while striker Matty Stenson has an operation on Monday.
