Halifax then host Sutton on Tuesday and Gateshead on Thursday before travelling to Torquay next Saturday.

No team in the National League have lost fewer away games or conceded fewer away goals than Boreham Wood, who have only lost once in their last 11 matches.

They have only lost once in their last 12 away games, with only Wrexham conceding fewer goals or losing fewer matches than them in the whole of the division.

Forward Bruno Andrade is the third joint-top-scorer in the league with 18 goals, and scored against Town earlier this season.

Town look set to be without Matty Kosylo, Scott Garner and Jacob Hanson for the game, according to boss Jamie Fullarton, who was tight-lipped about who could be fit from those on Halifax’s injury list.

Halifax haven’t scored in more than three hours of football, but have only conceded once in their last three home outings.

Their 2-0 defeat at Fylde on Good Friday was manager Fullarton’s first in charge, and their only loss in their last seven matches.

The reverse fixture in October was a 1-1 draw, with Adam Morgan equalising for Town (pictured).

If Halifax win and other results go their way, they could be nine points clear with only 15 left to play for, but if they lose and other results go against them, they could be just three points above the relegation zone.

Boreham Wood could slip from third to sixth if they lose and other results go against them, but they could move up to second if they win and Sutton lose at Fylde.
