Jeff King's 87th minute goal saw FC Halifax Town record an impressive 3-2 win at National League leaders Torquay United.

Town took the lead thanks to an own goal from Torquay's Sam Sherring, but that was cancelled out soon afterwards through The Gulls' skipper Asa Hall, who scored from the spot after King was penalised for a foul.

Hall scored from the spot in the second-half after King was again deemed to have committed a foul in the box, but Jack Earing equalised for The Shaymen with a close range finish.

King then blasted Halifax's winner late on with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area.
