Law nicks vital goal for Town
Billy Law’s first half header was enough to give Brighouse Town the points in their Boxing Day Evo-Stik NPL Division One clash with neighbours Farsley AFC.
Law latched onto Ben Thornton’s free-kick in the 25th minute to head the only goal of a hard-fought contest.
Town were delighted to keep a clean sheet in front of a crowd of 236 at St Giles Road.
Brighouse will now be hoping to make it a festive double success when they travel to Queensgate to take on Scarborough Athletic on New Year’s Day (3pm).
