National League announce games will go ahead this weekend despite coronavirus outbreak
The decision means FC Halifax Town will host Ebbsfleet tomorrow at The Shay live on BT Sport (5.20pm). It will be the only British football match to be televised this weekend.
In a statement, the National League said: "Following a Board meeting held today, the National League has decided to allow matches in its three divisions to proceed as planned this weekend.

Hide Ad"The National League will keep the operation of its competition under constant and diligent review, and will remain in compliance with government advice at all times.
"The Football Association has offered its guidance, and made it clear the decision to continue or to suspend a competition is a matter for each league to make.
"The National League places the welfare and well-being of all those involved in and connected to its competition as the highest priority."
All professional games in England and Scotland have been suspended indefintely due to coronavirus, which has also affected a host of other sporting events around the world.

Hide AdHarrogate Town's National League game with Solihull Moors scheduled for tonight (Friday) has been postponed after Harrogate said four of their members of staff had gone into self-isolation.
Halifax are then due to play Boreham Wood away on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
