Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years Michael.

Carol was a large supporter of local football and for many years, along with Michael, sponsored the Halifax & District AFL, for whom he is the President and also a former President of the Halifax & District FA, with a four figure sum. Carol then put into motion a plan to purchase land off Blackwall Lane, Warley and create three football pitches for community use and to stage league cup semi finals and finals.

This will be given to the Halifax & District AFL.

Sadly because of actions by another sporting body certain work has had to halted and Carol did not see her dream of seeing the project finished.
