Big field at Crown Nest Park

There was an excellent turnout of 128 players for the second Huddersfield, Halifax Ladies Winter League competition of the season at Crow Nest Park.

Seventeen clubs were represented in the nine hole fourball betterball stableford played in wet conditions.

Meltham’s Christine Marshall and Carol Walker won with 20 points from three Crosland Heath pairs.

There was a hole in one for Crosland Heath’s Gina Fielding on the fifth.

The next meeting will take place at Longley Park G on January 28.
