Valley retain title in runaway style

Their quartet of Chris Sweeney, Daniel Waddington, Steven Wood and Jeremy Bakes had a total of 333.

They beat the 22 other competing clubs by at least 16 shots - surely one of the wisest margins in the history of the event.

Outlane were a distant second with Crow Nest Park third.

Willow Valley were retaining the title, having won from Hanging Heaton at Bradley Park 12 months ago.

They took 10 shots more on that occasion and Sweeney and Wood were also in their winning team then.
