Greenwood makes Fax comeback against Rams' second string

Halifax full back Miles Greenwood will make his long-awaited return from injury in a second-string friendly at Dewsbury on Thursday night (7.30).

Greenwood, back at the Shay after a three season sabbatical at Oldham and Batley, has not played since breaking his leg in two places more than a year ago.

But he will take his place in a strong-looking reserve grade side, that also features established first team players Tommy Saxton, Connor Robinson and Andy Bracek.

It is not clear whether head coach Richard Marshall will consider players in action against the Rams for Sunday’s Championship fixture at Workington (3.0).
