A great day at Shantstock

After a brilliantly successful day last year the annual charity fundraiser Shantstock returns to the Holmfield pub this Bank Holiday Sunday (May 29).

The gig starts at midday and visitors are promised music all day from brilliant singers and bands organised by Craig Fee and Mike Addy.

These include Keegan & Harrison (Jonny Keegan is pictured), Dave Gaunt, Carl & Shane, Violet Disguise, Karova, We Ain’t Twins and The Sounds of Motor City.

On the day there will be a raffle with a first prize of return flights to a Jet2 destination for two people plus lots more.

There will also be children’s rides, stalls, tombola, name the Teddy, face painters and of course food and drink.

Last year the event made £2,400 and will once again raise money for Yorkshire Children’s Trust charity.
