Stage first forOperatic Society

Halifax Amateur Operatic Society is thrilled with its latest coup - to be the first society in the north of England to stage the musical '˜Made in Dagenham'.

After the success of ‘Hairspray’ and ‘Ghost’ in 2015, the society is looking forward to presenting ‘Made in Dagenham’ at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, from April 13 to 16.

Chairman Geoff Cowgill said: “By being the first amateur company in the north to present this musical, we are continuing our recent trend of bringing new releases to the people of Calderdale.”
