Families invited to take part in Brighouse Halloween trail this half term
A spooky Halloween trail will take place in Brighouse this half term.
Running from October 24 to 31, the trail will challenge young explorers to hunt down 15 pumpkin pictures hidden in shop window throughout the town centre, and make a note of the image they discover at each location.
There will also be 10 gargoyles hidden around the town centre for explorers to tick off.
Trail maps can be found at participating businesses, the Visit Brighouse office at 17, Bradford Road, or online at: www.visitbrighouse.co.uk/halloween

The map also includes Halloween activities and everyone who completes it can enter a prize draw to win one of three goodie bags.
The trail will take families around a host of participating shops, cafés and businesses, and organisers hope it will encourage families to also spend some time in the town centre.
Brighouse BID Project Manager Helen Holdsworth said: “Our family trails are always hugely popular and it’s brilliant to see children and families exploring Brighouse together during the school holidays.
“This Halloween, there are monstrous pumpkins to find, gargoyles hiding around the town and plenty of spooky activities to enjoy along the way.
“It’s also a great opportunity to discover some of the fantastic independent shops, cafés and businesses we have here in Brighouse, many of which will be getting into the Halloween spirit throughout half-term.
“We hope lots of families will pick up a map, join in the fun and see if they can complete the trail.”
